Due to the recent news regarding the development of the 40 acre Woodward Tract Parcel (south end of Lake Padgett Dr/Rain Forest PL). The Civic Association will play an active role in gathering and sharing creditable sources on the status of the property as they become available.  In the upcoming weeks  and months a dedicated area will be created within the Members Only Section of the website. 

Due to possible inclement weather the scheduled Lake Padgett Park  performance of the Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team has been moved to 2:30 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022.  Bring the lawn chairs and some hot chocolate and join us for this free event.  Lake Padgett Boat Parade departing from Tiki Cove is scheduled for 6 pm - Contact Tike Cove for more information. 

The Holiday Season is HERE!  

The LPE Civic Association Secret Elves have been busy preparing for the judging of our Annual LPECA Holiday Lights Display. 

Please be sure to turn on your Holiday Lights Display by 

6:00 pm on Thursday, December 15th

and

6:00 pm on Friday,  December 16th

Our Secret Elves will be out looking and seeking out Holiday Displays as they  follow their LPE maps and visit every street in LPECA in search of The Best of The Best Holiday Displays.  The Listing of the Finalist will be posted on the LPECA website on or before Sunday, December 18th by approximately 5 pm. with an eNews Update that will include a printable version of all the winners to be sent out to all our LPE Civic Association Members with email on file. 

Save the Date:  the LPECA Board of Directors invite the residents of the LPE ISD  to join us Tuesday, October 25, 2022  @  7:00 pm for a special Meet & Greet with the Candidates on the ballot for the upcoming ISD Board of Supervisors Election.  More information will be available as the details get finalized. Doors open at 6:45 pm.  

This meeting will take place in lieu of the LPE Civic Association's regularly scheduled board meeting.  Email info@lpeca.org with questions regarding this event. ALL LPE Residents are invited to attend! 

The LPE Civic Association is once again collecting bios and general information about our 2022-2024 LPE ISD Candidates and will updating the Members Only Section to provide that information to you. 

Additional updates will be taking place throughout the website as we prepare for the 2023 Membership Drive. 

The LPECA Board of Directors wishes to thank Mindy Gondek for her service to the LPECA Board and our Community.  Due to circumstances beyond her control, Mindy has officially resigned from the LPECA Board. We appreciate the ideas she has brought to us and her participation during her time with us. We wish you and your family ALL The Best!

"We wanted to provide you a friendly reminder, with the Ordinance change of Docks and Seawall that occurred March 26, 2019 Docks and Seawalls now require a building permit, to include signed and sealed engineer drawings."

We'd like to extend a heartfelt Thank You and express our gratitude to Clare Kaminski and Babe (Anna Marie Gray) for their many, many years of service to the LPECA and our community. Both of these amazing ladies recently decided to  "retire" from the LPECA Board that they have been serving on for many decades. Please take a moment to thank them for their service and welcome our newest board members.

Reminder: this was the LPE Civic Association elections and not the elections for the LPE Independent Special District - that governs our parks and recreational areas.
